BIOGRAPHY

A Top Local Interior Designer

A National Kitchen and Bath Association Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, Taryn Renee Haley, Allied ASID, has practiced residential and commercial design since 2005. After obtaining a Business degree from the University of Miami and an Interior Design degree, Taryn spent years designing model homes and high end residential properties, commercial projects at the Breakers Resort, and equestrian and Polo grounds in Palm Beach.

The daughter of a bridge builder, Taryn developed a passion for art, architecture and design early on that grew whilst traveling here and abroad. That passion took her to New York City where she studied at NYU and later pursued a Masters in the History of Art and Design at Parsons School of Design. Initially operating an art gallery in Chelsea, she then transitioned into retail design on Park Avenue and ultimately, into luxury Kitchen and Bath design for high profile clientele in the city and equestrian properties in the Hamptons.

In a surprising twist of fate, life brought Taryn from the concrete jungle of NYC to the countryside of Lawrence, Kansas where she now spends much of her time with her husband wrangling two rowdy little bears (aka toddlers)--blessings who opened her eyes to a passion for designing children's spaces.

With a client-focused approach, a meticulous eye for detail and project management, and a vast array of unique design aesthetics ranging from traditional to transitional to contemporary, Taryn has satisfied clients across the United States.

Combining her passion for great design, art and architecture, she has developed a reputation for going above and beyond in the pursuit of elegant and unique fusions of form and function.
